Sidney Jules brings exceptional leadership and environmental expertise to Skemtsin Environmental. As a member of the Simpcw First Nation with specialty certifications in forestry, fisheries, grasslands and recreational sectors, Sidney has established a distinguished track record of providing clear communications and sound environmental management that streamlines sustainable development.

Sidney's extensive project experience includes:

  • Environmental monitoring for the Trans Mountain TMX pipeline expansion through Jasper National Park and Mount Robson Provincial Park

  • Fish and wildlife management and independent environmental monitoring for the Bone Creek Hydro Project

  • Environmental services for Yellowhead Mine and the Kinder Morgan Pipeline expansion from Valemount to Barriere

His expertise encompasses pre-construction baseline assessments including archaeological assessments, Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) surveys, fisheries, Traditional Use Studies, and vegetation surveys. Sidney is highly experienced in wildlife survey and management planning for numerous BC species including bats, night hawks, butterflies, birds (breeding, migratory, owls, raptors), amphibians, grizzly bears, and small mammals. He has also provided water, soil, and air quality assessments for various development projects.

Sidney's unique combination of traditional knowledge and technical expertise exemplifies Skemtsin Environmental's commitment to integrating Indigenous perspectives with scientific best practices.
